Providence College Athletics Hosts The Annual Season Ticket Holder Party

More than 2,000 fans attend the event at Bally's Lincoln Casino.





PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Providence College Athletics held its annual Season Ticket Holder Party on Wednesday, October 22, at Bally's Lincoln Casino at 100 Twin River Road, Lincoln, R.I. from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  All Friar men's basketball, women's basketball and men's ice hockey season ticket holders were invited to attend. 
 
Over 2,000 attendees heard from Men's Basketball Head Coach Kim English, Women's Basketball Head Coach Erin Batth and Men's Hockey Head Coach Nate Leaman. Season ticket holders had the opportunity to meet student-athletes and collect autographs from members of the men's basketball, women's basketball and men's hockey teams.
 
A complimentary dinner buffet was provided for all guests. The Kim English Radio Show, which is hosted by the voice of the Friars John Rooke, aired live from Bally's Lincoln from 6-7 p.m. on NewsTalk 99.7 FM and AM 630 WPRO.
 
The Friars will also host Harvard in an exhibition game on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 4:00 p.m. at the AMP. The women's basketball team will face Franklin Pierce in an exhibition game on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 7:00 p.m. in Alumni Hall, in Providence, R.I. PC Men's hockey opened their season versus Michigan on Friday, October 11. The Friars hold a 1-2 record and will travel to St. Paul, Minn to take on St. Thomas on Friday Oct. 24 at 8:07 p.m.
 
The men's basketball team will officially kick off the 2024-25 season on Monday, Nov. 3 when the Friars host Holy Cross at 7:15 p.m. at the AMP, with the game being streamed on ESPN+. The women's basketball team will open its season the following night, Tuesday, Nov. 4, when the squad hosts Howard in Alumni Hall at 7:00 p.m. That game will be streamed on ESPN+.
