Miles Byrd threw a ceremonial first pitch prior to the Red Sox game vs. the Mariners on Sept. 1.
BOSTON, Mass. – The Providence College men's basketball program was on hand at Fenway Park on Tuesday, Sept. 1, prior to the Red Sox game versus the Seattle Mariners. Graduate student Miles Byrd (Stockton, Calif.) threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Byrd was joined on the field by Head Coach Bryan Hodgson, his coaching staff, members of the team and Athletic Director Steve Napolillo. A large contingent of Friar fans were in attendance at the game.
