PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's cross country teams will compete in the Princeton Fall Classic, hosted by Princeton University, on Friday, Oct. 17. The meet will be held on the Meadows Campus course. The men's 8k championship will kick off at 11:15 a.m. EST.

The Friar men will be led by freshman
Oliver Neate (Sydney, Australia). Neate made his season debut at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational on Oct. 3 where he led the Friars with a 32nd place finish in 24:14.94.
In addition to Neate, sophomore
Cormac Dixon (Dublin, Ireland) and junior
Will Johnston (Auckland, New Zealand) will compete for the Friars. Dixon was the top runner for Providence at the 2025 Friar Invitational on Sept. 5 with an eighth-place finish (18:42.58) and followed it up placing 34th (24:16.90) at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational. Johnston ran the Friar Invitational in 19:28.42 before placing 41st at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational in 24:23.40.
