Bo Martina Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Martina claimed weekly league honors for the second time this season.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College junior midfielder Bo Martina was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for field hockey on Tuesday, Oct. 14. It marks the second time that Martina has been named to the honor roll this season.
Last week, Martina scored two goals in a 3-1 victory over Sacred Heart on Oct. 12. It marked her second multi-goal game of the season and third of her career. Through 13 games overall, Martina leads the Friars in scoring with 18 points on eight goals and two assists. Three of her eight goals have been credited as game winners.
The unanimous Preseason All-BIG EAST Team honoree has recorded 42 career points at Providence on 15 goals and 12 assists.
The Friars return to action on Friday, Oct. 17 against No. 7 Liberty. The BIG EAST match-up will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Lynchburg, Va. and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
