Women’s Soccer To Play Five Spring Games

The Friars open offseason spring play at Bryant on February 22 followed by four home matches.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's soccer team announced on Jan. 7 that it will play five spring games. The team will play one road game and host four games on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, R.I. The five matches will be exhibition games during the team's offseason.
The Friars will open spring play when they travel to Smithfield, R.I., to face in-state rival Bryant University on Feb. 22. The friendly match will be played at Beirne Stadium. Kickoff time will be announced at a later date.
The Friars will then host four home exhibition matches in Providence, R.I., on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. The stretch begins with two games in March. The first home match will be played against Stonehill on March 1, with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. The Friars will then host the Canadian club program CF Montréal in a friendly match on March 29 and will kickoff at 1:00 p.m.
Providence will close out spring play with two games on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in April. The Friars will host Boston College in an exhibition match on April 5, with kickoff set for 4:00 p.m. Providence will conclude spring play when they host Boston University on April 12, with kickoff set for 4:00 p.m.
