SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Providence College men's soccer team defeated the Bryant Bulldogs (3-1-1), 2-1, in an intra-state matchup on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Beirne Stadium in Smithfield, R.I. The Friars earned a comeback win to improve to 4-2-1 overall and deliver the Bulldogs their first loss of the season. Junior

GAME FLOW & NOTES
-The Bulldogs gained a 1-0 advantage with three minutes left in the first half.
-The Friars found the 1-1 equalizer In the 61st minute, after Rosa scored off a one-touch finish from inside the box.
Bernardo Prego (Evora, Portugal) recorded the assist.
- Scarborough scored his first Friar goal give PC a 2-1 advantage with 17 minutes left to play in the second half.

The Friars will host No.13 Seton Hall (6-0) to open BIG EAST Play on Friday, Sept. 20. Kick-off is slated for 7:00 p.m. and will stream on the BIG EAST Network.
