Friars Basketball Team Up With The Providence Recreation Department To Host A Basketball Clinic At The Amica Mutual Pavilion

Providence College men's and women's basketball players instructed the free clinic on July 24.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – On July 24, 2024, the Providence men's and women's basketball programs teamed up with the Providence Recreation Department to host a free basketball clinic sponsored by Amica Mutual Insurance and Coca Cola. The clinic took place at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, R.I. 
 
About 200 boys and girls were coached by members of the men's and women's basketball teams. Throughout the clinic, the participants were directed through a series of drills and games to teach basketball fundamentals. The teams spoke to the boys and girls about the importance of staying physically fit and making smart life decisions.
