Brett Lehman Sets School Record In 400 Meters

Five Friars set personal records.

WORCESTER, Mass.– The Providence College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Holy Cross Invitational on Saturday, April 20 in Worcester, Mass. Five Friars set personal records.
 
Brett Lehman (Lower Gwynedd, Pa.) won the 400 meters in a school record time of 47.58.
 
Jon Mignacca (Seekonk, Mass.) set a personal record in the high jump of 2.05 meters to place first. Mignacca's performance ranks third in the BIG EAST.
 
Tyler Bartlett (Fairfield, Conn.) finished the 1,500 meters in a time of 3:56.43 for third place. Jacob Hefele (Danbury, Conn.) followed in seventh place with a time of 3:59.58.
 
Will Johnston (Auckland, New Zealand) placed seventh in the 800 meters in a time of 1:54.70.
 
Nik Ventura (Jamison, Penn.) reached a mark of 12.36 meters in the triple jump.
 
Will Rainey (San Jose, Calif.) ran a 58.45 in the 400-meter hurdles.
 
On the women's side, Kiera Hall (Christchurch, New Zealand) ran a 4:38.22 in the 1,500 meters to place second.
 
Lexi Brent (York, Maine) finished the 400-meter hurdles in 1:04.92 to place second.  
 
Claire Kelly (Cornwall on Hudson, N.Y.) finished third in the 2,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 7:17.97.
 
Nicole Borowiec (Denville, N.J.) placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 14.66.
 
Maggie Kemper (Huntington, N.Y.) ran a 26.11 in the 200 meters to place fifth. Borowiec followed in sixth place with a personal record time of 26.18.
 
Halle Atkinson (Franklin, Mass.) ran a 58.78 in the 400 meters.
 
In the 100 meters, Jenna Jacobs (Jefferson, N.Y.) and Cate Parks (Marion, Mass.) ran a 12.88 and 12.93, respectively. Both performances marked personal records
 
Claire Brean (Beverly, Mass.) ran a 2:21.63 in the 800 meters.
 
UP NEXT
The Friars will compete at the Penn Relays on April 25-27 in Philadelphia, Pa.
