PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College field hockey team carried a 1-0 lead into the fourth quarter, but yielded two goals in the final 5:24 of regulation in a 2-1 loss to Brown. Providence dropped to 7-9 overall on the season, while Brown improved to 8-7.
GAME FLOW:
• The two teams played a scoreless first half.

Cami Crook gave Providence a 1-0 lead at 36:30 as she converted on an offensive penalty corner, assisted by
Bo Martina and
Marley Mailloux.
• The Friars carried their 1-0 lead into the fourth quarter.
• The Bears tied the game, 1-1, at 54:36 as Katie McCallum scored, unassisted.
• The Friars finished the final 5:15 of the game a player down due to a yellow card and the Bears took advantage by scoring the game-winning goal with 1:09 to play in regulation.
• Mia Karine Myklebust was credited with the goal as she put the ball in the upper right of the the cage off a feed from Lucy Adams.
NOTES:

Asia Porter finished the game with a season-high 15 saves in goal.
• Crook scored her second goal of the season, which marks her second tally in the last three games for Providence.

• Providence returns to action on Friday, Nov. 1 at 3:00 p.m. against BIG EAST foe Villanova. It marks the final regular-season game for the Friars, which will be played at Lennon Family Field in Providence, R.I.
