BOSTON, Mass. – The Providence College men's track and field team competed at the Boston University Terrier Classic in Boston, Mass. on Friday, Jan. 26.
Liam Back (New Plymouth, New Zealand) set a personal indoor record of 3:59.41 in the mile to finish 19
th overall.
In the 400 meters,
Kyle Bloomer (Darien, Conn.) ran a personal record time of 48.72 and
Brett Lehman (Lower Gwynedd, Pa.) ran a 49.15.
Shane Coffey (Naas, Ireland) ran a 14:09.52 in the 5,000 meters to finish 18
th overall.
Grady Satterfield (Bowdoinham, Maine) won his section of the 5,000 meters by nine seconds with a 14:37.89 time.
Jon Mignacca (Seekonk, Mass.) finished third in the high jump with a mark of 1.95 meters.
In the 3,000 meters, DJ Principe (Johnston, R.I.) ran an 8:08.41 and
Zane Powell (Auckland, New Zealand) followed in a time of 8:09.36.
The Friar women will compete at the Boston University Terrier Classic tomorrow,
Jan. 27 beginning at 11:00 a.m.
