PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Providence College men's soccer will play at Seton Hall on Oct. 28 on the Owen T. Carroll Field in South Orange, N.J. at 2:00 p.m. It will be the final regular-season game. The Friars are looking to continue their six-game undefeated and lock in the first or third seed in the BIG EAST Tournament.

• Providence is currently in second place in the BIG EAST. With 14 points, the Friars trail two points behind the conference-leader, Georgetown.
• Providence leads the BIG EAST in goals (17), goals per game (2.43), assists (20), assists per game (2.86), and shutouts (four).
• The Friars enter this match with a six-game unbeaten streak, the team's longest since 2019.
• Last week, Providence earned six points. On Oct.18, the Friars defeated UConn, 3-1 and on Oct. 21, they marked a 3-0 victory at Butler.

Brendan McSorley (Randolph, N.J.) earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week and College Soccer News Men's Player of the Week.

Bruno Rosa (Cascais, Portugal) was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Oct. 23, his first career-recognition.
• In the game against the Bulldogs on Oct. 21, Rosa scored two goals and McSorley recorded a game-winning goal and an assist.
• With six shutouts on the season, Burns is second in the BIG EAST in shutouts and third in shutouts per game (.43). Burns has played all 1,260 minutes for the Friars, he has made 38 saves, posting a .667 save percentage so far this season.

McSorley leads the team in points (19) and goals (nine). He is tied for first in goals, goals per game (.86), and tied for second in points, points per game (1.86). goals, and goals per game (.86), and game-winning goals (two).

Diego Batista (Barcelos, Portugal) is ranked first in the conference in assists (five) and assists per game (.71).

Pearse O'Brien (West Hartford, Conn.) leads the Friars in assists with six.

• Providence men's soccer was picked to finish second in the East Division of the BIG EAST Preseason Men's Soccer Coaches' Poll, earning one first-place vote and a total of 56 points overall.
SCOUTING THE PIRATES….
• On Oct. 21, Seton Hall men's soccer lost, 3-1, at DePaul.
• The Pirates are 6-1-1 in home games this season.
• Andrea Borg leads the team in points (16) and assists (six).
• Borg and James Boote are the leading scorers for the Pirates, each player has five goals on the season.
• Goalkeeper Mats Roorda has started in 13 games for Seton Hall, he has registered 48 saves, posting a .727 save percentage and a 1.33 goals against average.
