The Friars are looking to continue their winning ways.
PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Providence College men's soccer will play at Butler University a BIG EAST match. The game will be held on Saturday, Oct. 21 in the Sellick Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind. Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m.

• On Oct.14, Providence men's soccer defeated UConn, 3-1. Brendan McSorley (Randolph, N.J) scored two goals. Nathan Messer (London, England) tallied a goal and an assist.
• With five shutouts on the season, Burns is tied for second in the BIG EAST in shutouts. Burns has played all 1,170 minutes for the Friars, he has made 36 saves, posting a .655 save percentage so far this season. •
McSorleyleads the team in points (16) and goals (eight). He is fourth in the BIG EAST in goals per game (.62), goals (eight), points, and game-winning goals (three).

(West Hartford, Conn.) has 12 points on the season. He is tied for third in the BIG EAST in assists (six) and stands in fifth in assists per game (.46).
• The Friars added 16 newcomers to the 2023 roster and eight of them have seen the starting lineup.
• Twelve players have recorded at least one point for the Friars, including two freshman and four transfers.

• On Oct. 18, Butler men's soccer tied Xavier, 1-1, in Cincinnati.
• The Bulldogs are 1-2-2 in home games this season.
• Palmer Ault leads Butler in points (12) and goals (six).
• Ryan Hannosh has a team-high three assists on the season.
• Goalkeeper Caleb Norris leads the BIG EAST in goals against average (.78) and save percentage (.771). He is second in saves (74) and saves per game (5.69).
