The Friars are currently 8-9-5 overall and 5-8-2 in Hockey East play.

Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) and
Hayley Lunny (Bedford, N.Y.) lead the Friars in points with 14 and 13 points, respectively. Bochna has a team-high six goals with eight assists compared to Lunny's five goals and eight assists.
Caroline Peterson (East Falmouth, Mass.) and
Brooke Becker (Orchard Park, N.Y.) have nine points apiece.
Sandra Abstreiter (Freising, Germany) and
Mireille Kingsley (Sudbury, Ontario) have both seen time in net for the Friars. Abstreiter has 14 starts, a 1.70 goals against average and a .945 save percentage. Kingsley posted her first career shutout against the Merrimack Warriors with 18 saves. She has eight appearances on the season with a  1.60 goals against average and .942 save percentage.
Hjalmarsson with Team Sweden
SeniorÂ
Sara Hjalmarsson (Bankeryd, Sweden) has been named to the Sweden Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team for the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
Having previously represented Sweden in the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, Hjalmarsson will be making the second Olympic appearance of her hockey career. Hjalmarsson is the 11
th player in program history to compete in the Olympics and is one of only six Friars to appear in multiple Olympic games.
In addition to Hjalmarsson's Olympic selection by Team Sweden, the Providence College women's hockey program also will be represented in the 2022 Beijing Games by Associate Head CoachÂ
Ali Domenico, who was selected as an Assistant Coach for Team Canada.
Scouting Boston College
Boston College is 12-11 overall and 10-8 in Hockey East play. The Eagles are coming off back-to-back wins against the Holy Cross Crusaders in a home-and-home series on Jan. 21 (4-1) and Jan. 22 (3-1).
As a team, Boston College averages 2.2 goals per game while giving up 2.5. The Eagles convert on 9.0% of power play chances and kill off 84.4% of penalties.
Who to Watch
Kelly Brown has led the Boston College attack, registering six goals and 13 assists for a team-high 19 points. Hannah Bilka has tallied 9 goal and 9 assists for 18 points while Abby Newhook has posted 17 points on 10 goal and 7 assists.
Abigail Levy has handled most of the work between the pipes, starting 21 of the Eagles' 23 games. She has posted a .936 save percentage and 2.36 goals against average.
