Spectators Not Allowed At Outdoor Collegiate Sporting Events In Rhode Island Until Further Notice

Officials from Bryant, PC and URI have been working RI DOH on guidelines for spectators.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The State of Rhode Island determined today (February 11) that spectators will not be allowed at any outdoor collegiate sporting events until further notice.  Representatives from Bryant University, Providence College and the University of Rhode Island have been working with the Rhode Island Department of Health on guidelines for spectators for all outdoor sporting events. The representatives from the three Division 1 institutions  (Bryant, PC and URI), which are participating in collegiate athletics this year, will continue to work with the State on a week-to-week basis and will announce the policies regarding spectators as they become available.
