PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â The Providence College volleyball team defeated the Seton Hall Pirates in straight sets, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21, on Sunday, Nov. 21 in Alumni Hall in the BIG EAST regular season finale. Providence concludes the season 16-15 overall, 4-14 in BIG EAST play.

1st SET:
• Providence fought back from a 7-14 deficit to take the first set, 25-22.
•
Jennifer Leitman paced the Friars with four kills, hitting 0.333.
•Â
Natalie Benson registered five digs.
• The Friars tallied six team blocks in set one.
•
Allison Barber tallied all 10 assists for the Friars.

2nd SET:
• The second set saw five tied scores and one lead before the Friars closed out the set, 25-21.
•
Shaliyah Rhoden led the Friars with six kills in the second set, while
Sasha Rudich and
Emma Fink added three each.
• Benson and Leitman paced the Friars in digs, with six each.
• All 13 assists were made by Barber.

3rd SET:
• Providence held the lead for the entirety of the set, taking the third 25-21.
• Fink had a team-high four kills in the final set, with a .300 hitting percentage.
• Benson led defensively with three digs.
• The Friars averaged a .300 hitting percentage in the third set.
NOTES / HIGHLIGHTS:
• Rhoden recorded a team-high 11 kills on 23 attempts for a .391 hitting percentage.
• Barber recorded 30 assists for the Friars along with seven digs.
• Benson and Taylor recorded nine digs each through three sets.
• As a team, the Friars had 37 kills on 112 total attacks, 39 digs, 32 assists and 12 total team blocks.
