Women’s Soccer Defeats Villanova In Double Overtime

Meg Hughes scored the golden goal in the 107th minute.
VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Providence College women's soccer beat the Villanova Wildcats, 1-0, in double overtime. Sophomore Meg Hughes (Rochester, Mass.) scored the game winner in the 107th minute. Sophomore Emma Bodmer (Monroe Township, N.J.) earned her first shutout on the road, giving her four total shutouts total this season. This marks the fourth game in a row that Providence has gone into overtime, each being a BIG EAST match-up.
