Gillian Kenney (Hanover, Mass.) scored the lone goal for the Friars in the 70
th minute even the score at one a piece. Sophomore
Emma Bodmer (Monroe Township, N.J.) made a critical save in the final minute of the first overtime to lead the Friars and Hoyas into their second overtime. This marks the third game in a row that Providence has gone into overtime, each being a BIG EAST match-up.

GAME NOTES & FLOW
-At the end of the first half, the game was tied at 0-0.
-Shots were limited in the first half with the Hoyas only allowing the Friars to get two shots off.
-Bodmer made two saves in the first half to keep the match scoreless.

st minute, Georgetown took a 1-0 advantage.
-Kenney answered in the 70
th minute off pass from sophomore

-At the end of regulation, the match was tied, 1-1.
-With one minute left in the first overtime, Bodmer makes a one-on-one save on a Hoyas shot.
- At the end of the first overtime, the score remained tied, 1-1.
- Providence and Georgetown each took two shots in each overtime period.
-After 110 minutes, the final score was 1-1.
-The Friars will return to action on Thursday, Oct. 7 against Villanova at 3 p.m.
