Amber Birchwell (Mastic, N.Y.) scored the game-winner in the 106
th minute off a pass from sophomore 
Meg Hughes (Rochester, Mass.). Sophomore 
Emma Bodmer (Monroe Township, N.J.) recorded her fifth shutout of the season with two saves.

Hannah McNulty (Warwick, R.I.) had the opportunity to give the Friars an early lead off a deflection from Hughes, but her shot was saved by a DePaul defender.

Avery Snead (Wrentham, Mass.) took a shot off a free kick, but DePaul's goalkeeper Mollie Eriksson made a diving save keeping the Friars from taking the advantage.

-After 100 minutes, the score remained tied at 0-0.
- In the 106
th minute, Birchwell scored the golden goal to secure a Friars win off a pass from Hughes.
-The Friars outshot the Blue Demons 19-4.
-Providence maintained the ball in their offensive end for 58% of the match and received eight corners, while the Blue Demons only had one.
-The Friars will conclude their regular season on Thursday, Oct. 28 against Seton Hall in Providence, R.I.
