BOSTON, Mass. – The No. 7 Providence College women's hockey was shut out by Northeastern University, 4-0, on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

The first period remained scoreless for both teams, going into the first intermission tied at 0-0.
Northeastern struck first at the end of the second period with a goal from Skylar Fontaine on the power play, giving the Huskies a 1-0 lead. Peyton Anderson struck 25 seconds later, carrying a 2-0 lead into the second intermission.
The Huskies added two more goals in the third period from Andrea Renner (10:18) and Chloe Aurard (16:19).
