Tristan Stowell (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) and Kevin Vang (Cranston, R.I.) recorded the shots on goal.
- In the 57th minute, Joao Serrano (Evora, Portugal) took a free kick from just outside the box. He played it through for a flick by Tiago Mendonca (Faro, Portugal), but Danny Vitiello was there to make the save for the Great Danes.
- Matt DePerro (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) broke the stalemate in the 74th minute. Andualem Chisholm (Attleboro, Mass.) made a nice play to get the ball to Braden Kline (Lancaster, Pa.), who ripped a shot. DePerro cleaned up the rebound for his first goal of the season.
