GAME FLOW & NOTES
- Max Todd put the Flames on the board early with a goal off a free kick from about 25 yards out. The goal was his second of the season.
- The Friars led in shots following the first 45 minutes, 5-4. They also held the advantage in corner kicks, 3-1.
- Todd scored his second of the day, and third of the season, in the 84th minute of play. Oscar Gonzalez played a through ball to Todd, who finished from the left side.
- The Flames added a third goal in the closing seconds of play. Markell Saddler took a shot that hit off the post and Alex Cervantes was there for the finish.
- Goalkeeper Colin Miller (Bel Air, Md.) made four saves in net for the Friars. At the other end, Sawyer Jackman made three for UIC.
- Klisman Sousa (Sal, Cape Verde) led the Friars in shots with four.
