Spenser Young all scored in the final 10 minutes as the No. 10 Providence College men's hockey team rallied from a one-goal deficit to a 3-1 win over New Hampshire on Saturday night at the Whittemore Center.

- The teams battled through a defensive first period as the Friars held a 6-3 advantage in shots through 20 minutes.
- Providence killed off the lone penalty of the period as
Greg Printz was whistling for hooking just 1:13 into the contest.
- A 9-1 shot advantage right off the bat in the second period gave the Friars momentum, as
Jason O'Neill nearly tucked in his second goal of the weekend after walking in alone on Robinson.
- Two power play attempts came up empty for the Friars as they put nine shots on goal during the man-advantage.
- The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead on the power play at 14:56 on Ara Nazarian's sixth goal of the season after the Friars failed to clear the zone on the penalty kill.

Brandon Duhaime nearly tied the game up in the final minute of the period but his wrist shot from the bottom of the circle found the post.
- Providence outshot New Hampshire by a 19-8 margin in the second period.
- A golden opportunity was awarded to Providence in the third period as they had a 5-on-3 man-advantage for 1:22, but the Wildcats held the Friars off the scoreboard.

Vincent Desharnais finally broke through for the Friars at 10:59 with his first goal of the season and first since Jan. 20, 2017 at UMass Lowell.

Jay O'Brien got on the board with his first career goal with 2:32 remaining to put the Friars up 2-1. O'Brien took a long-distance feed from
Brandon Duhaime and walked in all alone to beat Robinson high to the glove side.
- With the Wildcat net empty,
Greg Printz drew a holding call on Max Gildon and Providence cashed in as
Spenser Young tallied his fifth goal of the season with 1:14 remaining.
- Hawkey turned away 22-of-23 shots, including a brilliant breakaway stop on Brendan van Riemsdyk to keep the one-goal deficit early in the third period.

Brandon Duhaime and
Scott Conway each posted two assists on Saturday night.
- Providence won 38-of-78 faceoffs and out-attempted the Wildcats 56-44.
- The Friars snapped a three-game winless streak (0-1-2) with the win on Saturday night.
- The comeback marked the first time the Friars rallied from a third period deficit to win a game since March 16, 2018 against Northeastern in the Hockey East Semifinals.
