-
Matt DePerro (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) gave the Friars a 1-0 lead just 14:06 into the match.
Brendan Constantine (Glastonbury, Conn.) played a cross into the box that
Kevin Vang (Cranston, R.I.) headed down to the feet of DePerro. He was able to tap it in right on the goal line for his third goal of the year. All three of his goals this season have proven to be game winners.
- Initially, the assistant referee signaled that the play was offsides. The center referee then ruled that DePerro was kept onside by a St. John's defender who had slid out of bounds.
