MILWAUKEE, WIS. –  The Providence College volleyball team falls to No. 18 Marquette in straight sets on Saturday, Oct. 27 in Milwaukee, Wis. With the loss the Friars are now 8-15 on the season and are 2-10 in BIG EAST play.Providence will return to action on the road against Seton Hall on Nov. 2 at 7:00 p.m. (ET) in South Orange, N.J.

NO. 18 MARQUETTE MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:
- Providence falls to No. 18 Marquette, 3-0.

- As a team, Providence recorded 32 kills, 31 assists, 39 digs and three total team blocks.

- Impellizeri recorded nine kills and a .471 hitting percentage. Â

- Allison Barber(Woodbury, Minn.) contributed to the offense tallying 29 assists.

- Mackenzie Taylor(Holbrook, N.Y.) led the Friars' defense with 15 digs, just one dig less than the leader of the match from Marquette.

- Root, Barber and Jenae Alderson (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) contributed to the Providence defense with seven, six and six digs, respectively.Â

WHAT'S NEXT:Â The Friars will travel to South Orange, N.J. and Queens, N.Y. to face Seton Hall and St. John's on Nov. 2-3 for the second time this season.
