PROVIDENCE, R.I.– Providence College senior field hockey player
Corinne Kenney (Warrington, Pa.) has been selected to play in the 2018 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game.  The event features the top senior field hockey players I the nation.  The participants are given the opportunity to represent their institution, while competing with and against their peers.  A total of 38 student-athletes were selected to compete in this year's game, in addition to a list of alternates.

Kenney, a defender, has played in 53 career games for the Friars and has appeared in the starting line-up each time.  She missed the 2016 campaign with an injury, but returned to the field to earn All-BIG EAST Second-Team honors as a junior in 2017. Heading into the 2018 season, Kenney was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.  During her career, she has registered 10 points on two goals and six assists. This year, she ranks second on the team in assists (five), including a single-game career high of three assists vs. LIU Brooklyn on Sept. 16.

In addition to her accomplishments on the field, she also has excelled in the classroom.  She is a three-time BIG EAST All-Academic Team and NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad honoree.
