Providence College Holds Chi Alpha Sigma Induction Ceremony

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College Department of Athletics hosted a ceremony to honor 21 student-athletes who were inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma on April 14. The induction ceremony and celebratory dinner was held at Fleming's Steakhouse in Providence, R.I.

The criteria for induction to Chi Alpha Sigma requires that the student-athlete must attend a four-year accredited college or university that is a member of the NCAA or NAIA. The honoree also must achieve at least junior academic standing by the fifth semester or seventh quarter, as determined by the certifying institution, and must have achieved a minimum cumulative grade-point average of a 3.4 (on a 4.0 scale).

The twenty-one student-athletes inducted on Thursday night are:

Austin Goltz - Men's Lacrosse
Sarah Hammond - Women's Track/Cross Country
Bridget Hillsman - Women's Soccer
Angelica Kartsounis - Women's Track/Cross Country
Nadia Kemp - Softball
Lauren Klein - Women's Ice Hockey
Courtney Kukowski - Women's Ice Hockey
