Ellis put forth a superb effort over five games in December, posting league-leading totals in GAA (0.99), save percentage (.963), and wins (4). The junior surrendered just five goals in five games, turning aside 129-of-134 shots on goal while recording a shutout versus Merrimack on Dec. 5.

In six Hockey East contests thus far, Ellis has posted a league best 1.14 GAA and a .962 save percentage, while allowing just seven goals. In total, he ranks eighth nationally in save percentage (.937) and ninth in goals-against average (1.80).
