Volleyball Adds CC Clark To The 2014 Roster

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College volleyball team has added another recruit to its 2014 roster. Chicyia Clark (Huntington Beach, Calif.) has signed a National Letter of Intent for the 2014 campaign.
Clark, a setter, will join the team after competing for San Clemente and Edison High School. She played for four club teams, most recently with the TCA Volleyball Club. The incoming freshman helped her Laguna Beach Club team finish ninth in American at the 2012 Girls Junior National Volleyball Championship. Clark also guided her San Clemente team to a league championship in 2011. In 2010, her T-Street Club team finished second in the Summer Soiree.
"CC is a fundamentally sound setter with great upper body strength and quick feet. She comes from a great club program and has played at a high level. We are happy she is a Friar," said Head Coach Margot Royer-Johnson.
