STORRS, CONN. -- The Providence College Volleyball was defeated the University of Connecticut, 3-1 (15-7, 15-0, 13-15, 15-4) in BIG EAST action on Friday, October 6, in at Storrs, Conn.

As a team, Connecticut held a .328-.092 attack percentage advantage.

Connecticut improved to 11-6 overall and 2-1 in the BIG EAST, while Providence dropped to 13-7 overall and 1-2 in league play.

The Friars returns to action on Sunday, October 8, when they travel to New York, N.Y., to take on St. John's. The match is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
