As A Sophomore: Named to the All-BIG EAST Team... Named the BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Male Athlete of the Week on Jan. 15... Set program records in the 400-yard IM, 200-yard butterfly and the 1650 freestyle at the BIG EAST Championships... Placed first at the 500-yard freestyle (4:39.57) and the 400-yard IM 4:04.86) at the Harold Anderson Invitational... Competing in his first US Open, Viotto placed 61st overall in the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 2:06.13... Placed third  at the BIG EAST Championships in the 400-meter IM (3:55.77) ... Finished second in the 1650-yard freestyle at the BIG EAST  Championships (15:34.07).
As a Freshman: Placed first in the 800 freestyle (9:51.81), 200 butterfly (1:54.86), and 500 freestyle (4:46.82) against Iona… At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Viotto swept his individual events, placing first in the 400 IM (4:00.70), 500 freestyle (4:34.84), and 200 butterfly (1:50.20). He was also a member of the first place 800 freestyle relay, the second place 400 medley relay, and the second place 400 freestyle relay… Placed first in both the 1000 freestyle (10:00.41) and 200 butterfly (1:58.32) against Maine… Viotto qualified for the BIG EAST Championships, where he placed fourth in the 500 freestyle (4:28.72) and set two school records with his fourth place finish the 400 IM (3:58.09) and his ninth place finish in the 200 butterfly (1:50.12). Viotto was also a member of the 800 freestyle relay that placed fifth with a 6:46.69, another school record.
Before Providence: Earned four varsity letters at Morristown High School… Captain Senior year season… Morris County first team (2016, 2018) … Morris County second team (2017) … Top 8 finisher at State Championship for 500 freestyle… Morris County Champions (2015-17) … 2017 North 1A sectional champions… School record holder in the 200/ 400 freestyle… Winter Junior National Qualifier in 200 fly.
