At Providence: As a sophomore: placed 15th (1:03.99) in the 100-yard backstroke at MSC...Placed 12th (2:16.13) in the 200-yard backstroke at MSC...Placed second (2:34.26) in the 200-meter backstroke vs. Vermont on 1/28...Finished second (34.08) in the 50-meter backstroke on 1/21 vs. UMass-Dartmouth...Placed third (2:36.26) in the 200 SC meter backstroke and second (2:03.23) in the 200-meter freestyle relay with teammates Bonagura, Abbott, and McCarthy on 1/15 vs. Maine...Placed second (2:19.50) in the 200-yard backstroke and second (3:53.70) in the 400-yard freestyle relay with teammates Brezinsky, Bonagura, and McCarthy on 1/17 vs. Montclair State...Finished first (1:55.97) in the 200-yard medley relay with teammates Nemeth, K. At Saint Mary Academy-Bay View: A captain and four-year member of the swim and golf teams...Swam under head coach Ray Giant at the Seekonk Swimming Club as well as head coaches Paul Brouchu and Karen Roll at Saint Mary Academy...She was a 2003 all-state selection in the 200 medley relay and earned the 2004 Bay View Senior Sportsmanship Award...Was also a member of the Class A Champions and the Rhode Island state champions...A member of both the Rhode Island Honor Society and the National Honor Society, she was also Bay-View[apos]s nominee for the scholar-athlete of the year award.
