Athletic Director Robert Driscoll Hires Mac Hart As Assistant Athletic Director For Business

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Providence College Athletic Director Robert G. Driscoll announced the hiring of Mac Hart as Assistant Athletic Director for Business. Hart will be responsible for the central administration of the financial information for the athletic department.

Hart most recently served as the director of athletics for two years at Albion College in Albion, Mich. Prior to working at Albion, he was the senior associate athletics director at the University of Hartford from 1999-01. While at Hartford some of his duties included overseeing the business and ticket offices. Hart gained significant experience in athletic business operations as the Assistant Athletic Director for Development and Finance at the University of Utah where he was responsible for the business office and the development office. He also served as assistant athletic director for business at the University of Connecticut and at William and Mary. Hart began his career in athletics as an assistant athletic director at Dartmouth College in 1984.

Hart earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Northwestern University and his master's degree in sports studies from the University of Massachusetts.
