Women's Soccer's Mouratidis and Pickles Named to Preseason All-BIG EAST Team

The Friars were picked sixth in the BIG EAST Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Two members of the Providence College women's soccer team were named to the Preseason ALL-BIG EAST Team on Monday, August 3rd. The BIG EAST announced that graduate student, Thaea Mouratidis (Toronto, Ont.), and sophomore, Courtnee Pickles (Methuen, Mass.) were named to the team for the upcoming 2026 season.
Mouratidis, who earned All-BIG EAST Second Team as a redshirt-junior in 2025, started in 15 games for the Friars. She finished tied for second on the team in points with seven, on one goal and a team-high five assists.
Pickles also received accolades last season, being named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team honors as a freshman in 2025. She started 14 games for the Friars and finished tied with Mouratidis for second on the team in points with seven.
The Friars were picked to finish sixth in the BIG EAST Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Providence College will open the 2026 regular season next Wednesday (Aug. 12), hosting UMass Lowell on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. Kickoff begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
