Bryan Hodgson Adds Tyler Hrubes To His Staff

Hrubes joins Hogdson’s staff from Furman University.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College men's basketball Head Coach Bryan Hodgson announced today (June 11) the hiring of Tyler Hrubes to his staff. Hrubes comes to Friartown after spending the last year at Furman University and will serve as the assistant athletic trainer for men's basketball.
Hrubes will join Tee Butters (associate head coach/general manager), Jamie Quarles (assistant coach), Derek Rongstad (assistant coach), Logan Ingram (assistant coach), Alex Harris (assistant coach), Tyler Pacheco (director of basketball operations), Jacqueline Grant (chief of staff), Martin Stockwell (director of player development) and Landon Reed (video coordinator) as members of Hodgson's staff.
"Tyler will be a great addition to our staff, Head Coach Bryan Hodgson said. "He comes to Friartown after gaining experience at the highest level. It is a primary focus for us that our student-athletes receive the very best medical care, treatment and rehabilitation services. Tyler has all the skills to provide that and more for our players."
Hrubes, who will serve as assistant athletic trainer - men's basketball, spent the last year at Furman University as an associate athletic trainer for the men's basketball and golf teams. Prior to Furman, Hrubes spent two years at the University of Florida as a certified athletic training intern for the men's basketball and golf teams and was a part of the 2024-25 national championship team. Hrubes graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology and a Master of Science in athletic training.
