She then transitioned to the University of Nebraska Omaha, where she served as an assistant coach from 2020–22, contributing to player development, scouting and overall program operations.
Grant began her professional career at the University of South Florida as a graduate assistant from 2017–19, supporting Head Coach Jose Fernandez and his staff with the day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball program, both on the court and behind the scenes.
A native of Chicago, Grant played her first two collegiate seasons at Illinois after a highly successful high school career at Maine South. She transferred to DePaul and played her final two seasons with the Blue Demons.
During her collegiate career, Grant was the BIG EAST Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and started in all 35 games for the Blue Demons. Grant earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors as a senior in 2017 after averaging 11.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
Grant was a two-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team, and a two-time member of the Big Ten All-Academic Team. As a junior, she earned DePaul’s Shirley Becker Academic Award and Pat Ewers Unsung Hero award. She was a four-year starter at two major programs in Illinois.\\
