Brett Lehman Named BIG EAST Male Athlete Of The Week

Lehman set the facility and school record in the 400 meters at the Friar Invitational on April 11.
PROVIDENCE, R.I.– It was announced on Tuesday, April 15 that Providence College senior Brett Lehman (Lower Gwynedd, Pa.) was named BIG EAST Outdoor Track Male Athlete of the Week. Lehman earned the honor after winning the 400 meters in a time of 46.99 to set the program and facility record at the Friar Invitational, held at the Ray Treacy Track at Hendricken Field in Providence, R.I. on April 11. He became the first Friar to run under 47 seconds in the 400.
The Friars will return to action on April 24 at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa.
