- The teams battled through a scoreless first period with Boston University holding a 10-9 advantage in shots on goal.

- Svedeback stood tall to open the second period, making several point-blank stops. The most notable being a glove save on Quinn Hutson after a turnover at the bottom of the slot.

- The Terriers struck twice within a span of 1:57 to take a 2-0 lead after two periods. Jack Harvey and Sascha Boumedienne tallied for the Terriers.

- Quinn Hutson extended the Terriers lead to 3-0 with 7:58 left in the third period.

- Logan Sawyer and John Mustard each had a team-high five shots on goal.

- Providence falls to 10-3-2 away from Schneider Arena this season.
