PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Hockey East announced on Wednesday (Dec. 3) that Providence College senior Philip Svedebäck (Växjö, Sweden) was named Stop It Goaltending's Hockey East Goaltender of the Month for November. Svedebäck earns his second-career monthly recognition – earning the same honors back in December of 2024.
Svedebäck was given weekly honors Monday (Dec. 1) after turning away 67-of-71 shots he faced in a two-game series at Colorado College last weekend, posting a 2.04 GAA and .944 save percentage. In the month of November, he led all Hockey East goaltenders with a 1.86 GAA and ranked second in save percentage at .934. He logged a league-high 484:32 last month with totaling 214 saves over eight games played. In seven Hockey East games this season, he has posted a 4-2-1 record with a 1.84 GAA and .930 save percentage.
