COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The No. 16/17 Providence College men's hockey team was defeated by Colorado College, 3-2, on Friday (Nov. 28) at Ed Robson Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo.

NOTES
- The Friars' penalty kill went to work early after John Mustard was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct for contact to the head just 4:55 into the game. Providence killed off the major, helped by key saves by Svedebäck.
- Alex Rybakov opened the scoring at 12:11 of the first period with his second goal of the season. The freshman defenseman took a drop pass from Andrew Centrella and fired a wrist shot through traffic and past Mbereko. Clint Levens also earned an assist on the play.
- The Tigers tied the game just 2:06 into the second on a rebound goal by Brandon Lisowsky.
- Providence re-gained the lead at 2-1 at 15:47 of the second period as Hudson Malinoski one-timed a feed from Logan Sawyer for his second goal of the season.
- Svedeback stood tall in the second period as the Friars were outshot by a 16-5 margin.
- Lisowsky tallied his second goal of the game with a power-play strike to tie the game at 2-2 just 1:27 into the third.
- Riley Stuart gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead at 11:10.
- The Friars couldn't find the equalizer despite multiple chances in the final moments.
