PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's hockey team tied Boston University, 2-2, on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Schneider Arena. Boston University earned the extra point in the standings with a 2-0 win in the shootout. The Friars moved to 4-10-2 overall and 2-4-2 in Hockey East play, while the Terriers shifted to 3-10-1 overall and 3-5-1 in league action.

Sami Snyder (Waterloo, Ont.) buried the game's first goal, assisted by
Emma Hofbauer (Vomperbach, Austria) and
Kayla Kutes (Kirkland, Wash.).

Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ont.) extended the lead to 2-0 with her team-leading ninth goal of the season, assisted by
Peyton Blaney (Millgrove, Ont.).
• Boston University pulled within one at 17:26 of the second period on a goal by Greta Henderson, assisted by Kaileigh Quigg and Sydney Healey. Providence held a 2-1 advantage after two periods.
• In the third period, BU tied the game at 19:31 on a tally from Sydney Healey.
• Neither team broke through in overtime despite BU receiving a power play at 2:53 of the extra frame.
