The Friars scored six unanswered goals after trailing 4-1.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The No. 15/14 Providence College men's hockey team rallied from 4-1 down to defeat St. Thomas, 7-4, on Saturday (Oct. 25) in St. Paul, Minn.

NOTES

- The Friars struck first just 20 seconds in as Clint Levens netted his second goal of the season off assists from Beau Jelsma and Aleksi Kivioja.

- The Tommies exploded with three goals in the final two minutes of the period to take a two-goal lead after 20 minutes. Hayes Huntley, Lucas Wahlin and Bauer Berry scored the goals for St. Thomas.

- Freshman Jack Parsons came on in relief of Svedeback, earning his first career win while making 15 saves.

- St. Thomas took a 4-1 lead with a shorthanded goal by Alex Gaffney early in the second period.

- Providence then turned the tables as they struck for three goals in a span of 1:34 to even the game at 4-4.

- Kale McCallum wired a wrist shot short side for his first collegiate goal to cut the deficit to 4-2.

- Will Elger answered just 1:10 later with his third strike of the season.

- Hudson Malinoski tied the game 24 seconds after that with his first of the season, finishing off a loose rebound at the net-front.

- Jonathan Fauchon's second power-play goal of the season gave the Friars a 5-4 lead at 15:33.

- Third period goals by John Mustard and Graham Gamache capped the comeback for the Friars.
