WORCESTER, Mass. – The Providence College men's golf team completed the two-day Crusader Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Worcester Country Club in Worcester, Mass. The Friars finished ninth in the 12-team field with a score of 593 (+33). Junior
Campbell Skelly (Charleston, S.C.) led the Friars, posting a 147 (+7) to tie for 28th. Freshman
Liam O'Grady (Louisville, Ky.), competing as an individual, finished tied for 21st with a 146 (+6).
Siena captured the team title with a score of 564 (+4) over two rounds. Providence carded a 297 in the opening round and a 296 in the final round. Siena's Michael McConie earned the individual title with a four-under 136 across 36 holes.
O'Grady shot identical rounds of 73-73 and recorded six birdies over 36 holes. The tournament marked his first appearance since the season opener at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic. Skelly posted rounds of 73 and 74, totaling nine birdies to lead the Friars' lineup.
