Defensively, the Friars have conceded 14 goals while holding opponents to nine shots per game. Redshirt-freshman goalkeeper Ryan Carney (Dunstable, Mass.) has started every match in net this season, collecting 30 saves and a .667 save percentage. AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
It was announced on Sept. 29 that senior Sam Montalto  was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. Montalto registered two goals in a 1-0-1 week for the Friars, tallying the equalizer in the 90th minute in a 1-1 draw with Brown, as well as adding a goal in a 3-2 win at Xavier.
