The Friars stuff the stat sheet with three different goal scorers on Sunday.
PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College women's soccer team defeated the Northeastern Huskies, 3-2, on Sunday, September 8 at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium Providence, R.I. The Friars moved to 3-2-1 in regular-season play.

GAME FLOW AND NOTES
- Kristin Middaugh (Lancaster, N.Y.) scored the first goal of the match for the Friars. She made a move to beat the NU defenders at the top of the box and found the back of the net. Her goal was unassisted.
- Alanna Coffie (Warwick, R.I.) scored her first goal of the season to give the Friars a 2-0 lead. She found the back of the net on a well-placed assist from Kacey Lawrence (Monroe, Conn.).
- Avery LeVangie scored the first goal of the game for the Huskies. She beat the keeper with a shot. The assist came from Bri Jablonowski.
- Marryn Gruhn (Northport, N.Y.) scored her first goal of the season for the Friars. She ripped off a shot from outside the box. Kacey Lawrence recorded her second assist of the game on the Friars' goal.
- Sophie Fox scored for the Huskies on a corner kick. She found the back of the net from inside the box after a mishandled ball by the defense. Her goal was unassisted.
