PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's basketball 2024-25 BIG EAST schedule was announced today (Sept. 12). The game times and the television broadcast assignments will be announced at a later date. The Friars will play a 20-game league schedule with Providence playing each of the other 10 conference teams once at home and once on the road. Providence will play its BIG EAST home opener against St. John's on Friday, December 20 at the Amica Mutual Pavilion (the AMP) in Providence, R.I.
Providence's other BIG EAST home matchups will be versus Marquette on Tuesday, December 31; versus Butler on Wednesday, January 8; versus Seton Hall on Saturday, January 11; versus Georgetown on Saturday, January 25; versus Creighton on Wednesday, February 5; versus Xavier on Wednesday, February 12; versus Villanova on Saturday, February 15; versus UConn on Saturday, March 1; and versus DePaul on Wednesday, March 5.
The team will play 10 league road games. The Friars' BIG EAST road opener will be at DePaul on Tuesday, December 10. The team's other nine league road games will be at UConn on Sunday, January 5; at Creighton on Tuesday, January 14; at Villanova on Friday, January 17; at Seton Hall on Tuesday, January 28; at St. John's on Saturday, February 1; at Butler on Saturday, February 8; at Georgetown on Wednesday, February 19; at Marquette on Tuesday, February 25; and at Xavier on Saturday, March 8.
