PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College men's basketball team's 2024-25 non-conference schedule was announced today (June 20). The Friars will play 11 non-conference games to open the 2024-25 season. Providence will begin the season against Central Connecticut State on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.
In addition to their home opener versus Central Connecticut, the Friars' other home games will be versus Stonehill (Saturday, Nov. 9), Hampton (Tuesday, Nov. 12), Green Bay (Saturday, Nov. 16), Delaware State (Tuesday, Nov. 19) and BYU (Tuesday, Dec. 3) in the Big 12/BIG EAST Battle.
The team's lone road game during the non-conference season will be at the University of Rhode Island on Saturday, Dec. 7.
In the team's first neutral site contests of the season, the Friars will play three games in the Battle 4 Atlantis scheduled for Nov. 27-29 in Paradise Island, Bahamas. The opponents and game times for the Battle 4 Atlantis will be released at a later date. All games of the tournament will be televised on ESPN networks.
On Saturday, Dec. 14, the Friars will face St. Bonaventure in the Hall of Fame Showcase at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut in the Friars' final non-conference game of the regular season.
All start times and television information for each game will be announced in September.
