NOTES
- Boston University struck first midway through the opening frame, with a centering pass from Lane Hutson finding Macklin Celebrini, who rifled a shot past Svedebäck to give the Terriers the early 1-0 lead.
- The Friars found the equalizer while on the power play at the 11:37 mark in the second period, as Nick Poisson set up Chase Yoder in front of the net for the captain's team-leading 11th goal of the season. Riley Duran also logged an assist on the tying score.
- Providence gained their first lead of the night with just under five minutes to play in the middle frame as Hudson Malinoski skated through the BU zone before netting a wrap-around shot to put the Friars ahead 2-1. Connor Kelley and Liam Valente each earned the assist on the goal.
