PROVIDENCE, R.I.– The Providence College women's hockey team skated to a 1-1 tie against Vermont on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I.
Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the night with 15 saves.

-Both teams skated through first period scoreless.
-The Catamounts broke the ice with a goal by Alaina Tanski 19 seconds into the second period. Natalie Mlynkova and Lily Humphrey were each credited with an assist.
-One minute later,
Ashley Clark (North Weymouth, Mass.) netted the Friars' first goal, 1-1, with help from
Kiara Kraft (Churchville, N.Y.) and
Claire Tyo (Massena, N.Y.).

Brooke Becker (Orchard Park, N.Y.) scored at the 14:45 mark of the third period to give the Friars a 2-1 lead. Clark and
Lauren DeBlois (Lewiston, Maine) assisted the play.
-With four seconds left in regulation, Vermont's Humphrey assisted Mlynkova to the equalizer, 2-2.
-Both teams were scoreless in overtime, ending regulation at a 2-2 tie.
-Vermont won the shootout, 1-0, for the extra point in Hockey East standings.
