PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 9/11 Providence College men's hockey team defeated Simon Fraser University (B.C.) 5-2 in an exhibition game at Schneider Arena on Sunday (Jan. 7).

- The Friars held a 2-0 after 20 minutes of play as Jamie Engelbert and Nick Poisson cashed in for goals.
