- The Eagles struck first just 35 seconds into the game as Oskar Jellvik fired a wrist shot past Svedeback off a rush.
- Both teams were unsuccessful on their lone power play attempts in the first period. Shots were even at 6-6 after 20 minutes.
- Boston College exploded in the second period, scoring five times to take a 6-0 lead after 40 minutes.
- Jamie Armstrong, Will Smith, Ryan Leonard, Cutter Gauthier and Jacob Bengtsson tallied for the Eagles in the middle frame.
- Graham Gamache netted his third goal of the season to get the Friars on the board at 5:07 of the third period. Taige Harding earned the assist on the play.
- Smith added another goal for the Eagles with 5:01 remaining to make it a 7-1 game.
